FP Markets Books the Best CFD Broker in Africa
I requested a $3,000 withdrawal from FP Markets, but it's been 20 days, and the funds haven't landed in my bank account yet. FP Markets claims the transaction went through on their end, but my bank has no record of it whatsoever. Regrettably, FP Markets hasn't been able to resolve this matter and simply keeps referring me back to my bank. My experience with them has been nothing short of frustrating and worrisome. I'd strongly recommend potential investors to approach them with caution.
Withdrew my cash last week, but it only got moving this week. Seriously, the raw account is a tough nut to crack – can barely get a trade rolling with less than $200. I'm used to being a pro trader with another broker. Wondering if FP Markets has an upgrade option to go pro? I'm going to give the standard account a spin and see if that's any smoother.
While I was actively trading with open positions, FP Markets suddenly halted trading for all my accounts. It happened on a day when I had managed to make some profits on the EURAUD and AUDUSD pairs, right after the Australian central bank announced an interest rate increase. It appears that the broker didn't take kindly to my gains and abruptly restricted my trading activities. Consequently, I find myself unable to manage my existing positions, and there is even mention of them possibly voiding my profits.
I saw someone comment that they have a frustrating situation. I recently had a similar experience where I canceled an order, but it ended up being executed and resulted in a loss. To make matters worse, the customer service couldn't assist me. It isn't very pleasant when things like this happen.
Just a word of caution for those considering holding trades overnight: based on my experience, be prepared for potential slippage of up to 60 pips. It's unfortunate, but it's essential to be aware of this possibility before making any decisions.
Yo, listen up! I gotta spill some tea about this company's security game. So, before, they were all about that high logging security, using 2FA with SMS codes, you know? But now, they've switched it up to some ancient and weak pin method. Like, seriously? Are they trying to make it easier for fraudsters to get in? 'Cause that's how it looks to me.
The thing is, pin codes are like a one-trick pony. They're so not rotate-able, and hackers can crack 'em like it's no biggie. It's a major facepalm moment. They should've leveled up their 2FA game and used an authentication app like Microsoft or Google. But nope, they went with the pin method. How hilarious is that?
To all the peeps out there using this company, I'm telling you, you gotta be hella careful with your money. This security downgrade is no joke, and it's on us to keep our funds safe. Stay woke, fam!
I am extremely disappointed and frustrated with the recent actions of FPMarkets. While I was actively trading and had open positions, they abruptly halted trading for all of my accounts without any prior notice or explanation. This happened right after I made some profits on the EURAUD and AUDUSD pairs following the announcement of an interest rate increase by the Australian central bank. It seems that the broker did not appreciate my success and decided to hinder my trading activities.
As a consequence of their actions, I am now unable to manage my open positions, which is incredibly frustrating and detrimental to my trading strategy. To make matters worse, there are indications that they may even consider canceling the profits I made. This is completely unjustifiable as my trading activities did not violate any of their terms and conditions
I must express my utmost disappointment and grave concern regarding the handling of my withdrawal request, as well as the evident lack of proper regulation. Despite reaching out to the support team consistently for over 20 days, I have yet to receive the full funds as requested.
To make matters worse, the support team informed me that only a mere $21 has been credited to my account, leaving the remaining amount unaccounted for. This is an alarming situation that should not be tolerated, especially after such an extensive period of waiting and following-up.
As professionals, we expect a timely and accurate resolution to our financial transactions. This extended and incomplete response are completely unacceptable.

They have terrible customer service, even just talking about it makes me really mad. So this happened last week, I was trading a major pair and then I realized that my stop loss is triggered. At first, I thought that was because I was losing but no, I was still far away from my stop loss point but they kicked me out. This also happened last month when they executed my take profit positions 1 pip earlier than it was supposed to be. I contacted the customer service and they didn't give me good explanations at all!
