Regulation and Security - Forex Broker Testimonials

It's been a while since I stumbled upon IC Markets and so far I really love the premisses. I am absolutely in love with the low spread accounts so I am really interested to try them. However, to my understanding, IC Markets is an Australian broker and is regulated under ASIC while I am not from the country. So I was wondering if I can apply for their service from where I live? And would my account be protected under the CySEC regulations or others? Are there any differences compared to what Australian brokers can enjoy?

So I am currently residing in Australia and I was just wondering if I can move my account to the UK server? I will be in the country for quite a while and I don't want to risk losing anything. But if I couldn't, is there any way I can still keep trading while I'm in a foreign country? Another thing, if I do switch my account to be England-based, does that mean that my account will not be regulated under ASIC anymore? What are the differences?

For me security, if one of the major factors before I decide to open an account with a broker. Sometimes, I checked what kind of security measures they use to protect our data and accounts. Aside from that, I also need to know if they apply for a segregated account and where it's located? I had the opportunity of experiencing how unprofessional brokers without segregated accounts are. 

I know that IC Markets is an Australian broker, so I was expecting them to be regulated by ASIC. But then I checked on their websites and I was surprised to find out that they are also regulated by CySEC as well. While it's always good to have brokerages that have been regulated by multiple bodies, it got me thinking. Since I don't live in Australia, does it mean that my account will be assign under CySEC? If yes, then what are the differences?

I will be moving to Thailand soon and I wonder if I can still get IC markets service there? Or are there any other instruments/products that I couldn't access anymore? I understand the regulations might be different so there might be a slight change to what I can get access to, therefore I really need to know what I can (or cannot) get. Aside from that, what payment method should I choose to start trading from the said country? I normally use PayPal, but I don't know if that option is available in Thailand.

Absolutely a great broker. To start, this broker has superb customer service and their response lead time is pretty short, normally within 1 business day. They also have a reasonably low spread which I really love because I'm a cheapskate. But, most importantly, they have been regulated by different tiers of authorities in different countries and have a long history of good reputation, which is over 10 years. Overall, my experience with this broker is very amazing and I would love to explore more of their features before making final conclusions.

Does TriumphFX comes with an insurance policy or not? This is a very important question for me. Back in the day, I trade with a rather 'fishy' broker. Admittedly, they have pretty good leverage, so that should be a warning sign. In my defense, I was a newbie when I created that account (and a little drunk). So anyway, there was a security breach and I lost a lot of money in my funds. Now I am looking for a broker that comes with a trusted insurance policy and good security systems. My friend has been suggesting TriumpFX, so I hope they can live up to the reputation.

My money got stuck and they claimed that there are some problems with my bank. This is a lie because earlier I withdraw some amount of money from another broker. This problem keeps happening in IC Markets, I don't know why. Although I just find out that IC Markets have now gone offshore and the money is held offshore now in Seychelles, and Belize. Now, I don't know if there is a connections between this but I know for a fact that some people are very picky about regulations, so there is something to consider.

I just found out that IC Markets has regulations in South Africa. This is really a brilliant move to expand the market. So far I'm quite happy to use IC Markets.
