I think there is a potential data leak. Last night, I received a fraudulent call informing me about the closure of this company due to financial misconduct, and the caller claimed they wanted to refund my deposit with this broker.

However, the fact is that I did not have any remaining deposits in my account worried me a lot. Worse, the scammer possesses my complete name, email address, and phone number.

Yo, listen up! I gotta spill some tea about this company's security game. So, before, they were all about that high logging security, using 2FA with SMS codes, you know? The thing is, pin codes are like a one-trick pony. They're so not rotate-able, and hackers can crack 'em like it's no biggie. It's a major facepalm moment. They should've leveled up their 2FA game and used an authentication app like Microsoft or Google. But nope, they went with the pin method. How hilarious is that?

Brokers are very not recommended! Okay, here's my problem. So I opened a new account with HFM, had a minimum deposit of about $100, so I deposited $110. But then I realized that they don't offer much leverage or copy trading due to my country's regulations. So I asked for a refund and he wrote that I have to wait 10 days. Now, I don't know if there is a connections between this but I know for a fact that some people are very picky about regulations, so there is something to consider.

They used to be so good, but then they changed. Suddenly withdrawal wasn't so smooth anymore. Spreads were still pretty tight but slippages were horrible, sometimes there would bes in the charts and stop-loss doesn't execute properly. All this problem started when they change their entity from IC markets Australia to IC markets Global Seychelles. I don't want to say that this is what caused all of the issues, but it might be. Just remember to always be careful during trading.

IC Market's server is totally unreliable. It froze when there is a big news release, it's a very important time for me. In fact, it froze for more than 15 minutes! How am I supposed to place an order like that? I know that the market is crazy during those times. But you would think that a company as big as IC Markets would prepare something to protect traders against that condition, not to mention they are regulated by ASIC. But nope! They just let it slide. It is very disappointing to loose huge during the most crucial time.

In the beginning, it was really good. My deposit went very smoothly and there are no problems that occurred during this process. My funds appear almost instantly in my trading account. Even when I'm trading, everything seems to go very well and hassle-free. I think I must have found a reliable broker. But, sadly the problem arises when I'm trying to withdraw my money. They just won't let me get my own money. I tried to ring the person who originally phoned me from Oanda some time ago. Only to find the number is not valid anymore. A tip, you might want to file a small claim against them and report to the FCA if you experience this.
