Demo Accounts - Forex Broker Testimonials

I have been with ICMarkets for about 5 years. I have had no problems with deposits or withdrawals. I mostly use it for forex trading only, because I feel like they don't have enough cryptocurrency instruments. However, I would be glad to move all of my accounts from other brokerages if they add more crypto assets. So far, they keep their promises for good execution and good spreads on the major pairs. The only thing that I do not like is the demo accounts it seems the connection drops a lot. This makes it very hard to test my Ea's. I wish they would improve the connection for demo accounts.

Having to work with IC Markets is probably one of the best experiences I ever had from a broker. Not only do they give me the best order executions time ever, but they also have great webinars. Now, I know so many of my peers took lightly of this feature, but it actually help me grow. Not to mention their demo account is really great and smooth too. I haven't got any noticeable problems during my time with them (about 8 months).

Sometimes the connections to the demo accounts were severed and it's really annoying. I mostly trying out new strategies and methods here, so it's really a huge matter for me. It's sometimes happened to the live accounts as well and I won't be able to log in anytime soon, this usually leads me to losses. I hate it when I'm losing trades because of technical issues. I wish you can fix this IC Markets.

There are some server errors when I'm using a demo account. The good news is, I haven't experienced it during the two months I'm using a live account, which is a good thing. Although I've read that a lot of people experienced server errors during news releases, we'll just have to see. Despite that, there are several things that I don't really like. The commissions are too high, 20% of the profit when the trade is in earnings, but also when they are at a loss. I think it should be only at 10%. But the order executions are good, so there is that. Right now I'm still undecided whether to like IC Markets or not, so I gues for now I'll give it 3 stars.
