XM again teams up with the Singapore Red Cross through its CSR program to provide elderly residents in Tampines who are vulnerable and live alone with donations.

XM has created other opportunities to collaboratively join the Singapore Red Cross, where both assist elderly residents in Tampines who are vulnerable and live alone. XM employees collaborated to provide care packages containing necessities and tasty delicacies to brighten their day.

There are around 88 thousand elderly people in Singapore who live alone and do not have anyone to look after them. They must contend with various obstacles in their day-to-day lives, including obtaining fresh food and doing daily tasks, in addition to preserving their health.

XM donated to the ElderAid program of the Red Cross, aiming to ease their burden. Assuring the elders of a healthy lifestyle and a positive outlook on life, XM provided them with tasty delicacies, nutritional supplements, and medical supplies, including goods for emergency care and daily comfort.

The ElderAid program's overarching goals are to strengthen the independence of elderly people and alleviate their feelings of isolation. Befrienders voluntarily provide emotional support and practical assistance to elderly people who live alone. In addition to this, the time that is spent together helps lower the risk of mental health concerns as well as diseases that are related to loneliness.

Growing older does not necessarily equate to a decline in one's overall quality of life. XM is delighted to collaborate with charitable organizations that make a difference in people's lives when they require the most assistance.
