Thomas Selby steps down as IronFX’s chief business development officer after one month to join Trade EverestCM.
Retail broker Trade EverestCM has appointed Thomas Selby as their chief business development officer. Selby took up this new position in just one month since he was installed in the same role at IronFX.
Selby’s Career Before IronFX
As a veteran in the forex industry for 17 years, Selby said that he left the Cyprus broker on good terms.
Prior to working at EverestCM, Selby served in various forex brokers throughout his career since 2004. Before joining IronFX, he spent most of his career at Exinity. The company is chaired by FXTM co-founder Olga Rybalkina who oversees Alpari International, ForexTime (FXTM), and Exinity Capital East Africa in Nairobi.
Selby spent eight years at Exinity as business development manager for Asia in 2013, head of sales from 2014 to 2020, to head of the international business division.
Selby's experience in the brokerage industry began at FxPro in 2007 when he joined as a customer support supervisor. Subsequently, Selby moved to work at the Cypriot broker FIBO Group in 2010.
Selby spent three years at FIBO Group in charge of the leading support, sales, IB, and back-office departments before finally stepping down in 2013.
Selby's experience is expected to help EverestCM expand its range of offerings, especially in retail trading.
