To help its global expansion, Plus500 appoints Kiefer Sutherland to appear in an ad campaign video that will be broadcasted all over the world.

Plus500 broker released an ad campaign video for global branding in multi-language entitled "It's Trading with a Plus". The FCA-regulated company plans to run the ad not only as a prime-time TV commercial in several markets around the world over the next few weeks but also promote it online on social media and billboards in London, Milan and Sydney.

Starring Emmy and Golden Globe-winning actor Kiefer Sutherland, the ad was created by the agency McCann Tech. McCann Tech is the Israel-based arm of McCann Worldgroup, a campaign specialist firm for cutting-edge technology companies.

The Plus500 campaign marks a change in the broker's marketing strategy for sports sponsorship in recent years. As reported last month, Plus500 has just ended its partnership with LaLiga football team Atletico after eight years. However, Plus500 still has several other sports-related agreements, including those with Legia Warsaw, Atalanta BC, and BSC Young Boys.

This campaign aims to introduce the Plus500 brand more broadly in global markets, while maintaining its popularity in main markets, such as the UK and the United Emirates. For this reason, it is not wrong if Kiefer Sutherland is a very good choice as the main model, because the American-Canadian-British actor has a global following all over the world.
