After ending their contract with Atletico Madrid, Plus500 just recently strikes a 4-year sponsorship deal with the US-based basketball team, Chicago Bulls.

Forex and CFD broker, Plus500 has signed a four-year partnership contract with the Chicago Bulls, a US-based professional basketball team. After ending a 7-year contract with Spanish soccer club Atletico Madrid, the Plus500 sailed the ocean to the US, making the Chicago Bulls the company's first sponsored US sports team. Previously, Plus500 had funded various football clubs, such as Atalanta B.CL Italy, Legia Warsaw Poland, and BSC Young Boys Switzerland.

Plus500 CEO, David Zruia, stated that the collaboration with the Chicago Bulls will help the LSE-listed broker to drive brand awareness in the US. Zruia said that the deal is part of the broker's efforts to diversify its global product offering and grow the broker's presence in this significant and exciting market.

"The four-year partnership will include various marketing elements, community initiatives, social media content, events, and more to drive brand awareness and build on the core synergies that both brands have in common: innovation, culture, and success," Plus500 explained in the statement.

The company added, "It will also emphasize Plus500's ambitions to develop its global footprint by entering new markets, and specifically the Group's connection with the city of Chicago — the heart of the US futures industry and where Plus500's US operations are located."
