Online broker OctaFX trains students from Rivers University on forex. The program is the first part of the company's project that will be held from time to time every quarter in other universities.

Forex broker OctaFX has just launched a training program for 250 Nigerian students on forex trading at Rivers State University. Principal strategist for OctaFX, Ajola Johnson gave a speech at the event. She said that a program like this is needed by unemployed fresh graduates who find it difficult to find work.

"With the way the current university system, you find out that people come into school, study their courses and leave without having any skill. Sometimes, they are not able to apply what they learned in school and some cannot hold down a job after school. So, we design this initiative because we understand that Nigerians have multiple lives," she added.

OctaFX broker forex training is designed to empower students to have specific skills in addition to the knowledge taught in school. Thus, apart from getting a university degree, students also get a certificate in forex.

Ajola stated that this initiative is aimed at not only educating young people about financial fraud on the internet but also encouraging students to earn legitimately while in or out of school through forex investments.

"We simply want to make a clear pathway for young people to learn about the forex market and to make an income. This means that whenever young people want to trade currencies, the company creates a reliable platform," Ajola said.

Speaking further, Ajola revealed that the initiative will continue, which is organized to be carried out from time to time every quarter. OctaFX plans to hold similar training programs at several universities, with Port Harcourt being the first. This tier-2 regulated broker intends to empower students with maximum knowledge and support to gain financial independence. Therefore, students who do not have any knowledge of forex can take advantage of the training from OctaFX.
