Exness has pointed ex InstaForex, Mohammad Amer as Regional Commercial Director of MENA, one of the company's key regions.

Multi-asset broker Exness strengthened its executive team by appointing Mohammad Amer as Regional Commercial Director for the Middle East and East Africa (MENA) region.

Artem Seledtsov, Chief Business Development Officer of Exness explained that Mohammad will be responsible for the commercial growth, development, and management of MENA, one of Exness' key regions. The appointment comes after Exness set a record by raking in more than $2 trillion in trading volume for several months in a row. In August, Exness posted a trading volume of $2.8 trillion.

Amer is a veteran in the brokerage industry for more than two decades. He has worked with several brands of forex brokers over the years in executive positions.

Prior to joining the FCA-regulated company, Amer spent almost three years as Director of Business Development at InstaForex. He also held the position of Head of Sales at ArgusFX for three years. In addition, he also served a brief five-month stint at FXPRIMUS, holding the position of Head of Sales. Amer has worked at ForexTime as Vice President of Sales for over a year.

He started his career as a Sales Manager at TTG Middle East & North Africa and later moved to Windsor Brokers, where he spent over six years and stepped down while in the position of Head of Corporate Sales. 

“Mohammad started his forex career in 2006 and was among the few who took part in the financial expos before any forex-specialized ones appeared. He interacted with complete non-participants, and experienced fresh and green markets,” Seledtsov added.
