Online broker Exness supports Enalia Physis to preserve the habitat of the Mediterranean Monk Seal by cleaning up the Palathkia Caves.

Global multi-asset broker Exness allocates social funds to protect the natural habitat of Mediterranean monk seals in Cyprus by supporting the work program of Enalia Physis Environmental Research.

The effort started on 20 September 2022 with cleanup efforts at Palathkia Caves in Cape Greco, Ayia Napa. The sea caves at Palathkia are important as shelters and breeding grounds for endangered seals. Therefore, it is essential to keep the cave clean and accessible. On the cleaning day, 20 volunteers collected 300 kilograms of trash from the cave.

In addition, the low-spread broker sponsored a video advertisement for Mediterranean monk seals, which was uploaded on the Enalia Physis youtube channel. The program aims to increase public awareness of how important it is to preserve monk seals and all life in Cyprus and the Mediterranean.

Exness expressed gratitude for the work Enalia Physis is doing and is committed to continuing cooperation in protecting the habitat of the Mediterranean monk seals.

Martin Thordvaldsoon, CSR Director at Exness said: "Exness has demonstrated its ongoing support for environmental and animal protection through a number of initiatives and sponsorships."

Director of Enalia Physis Marios Papageorgiou also commented, "We are grateful for companies such as Exness showing sensitivity to issues such as raising awareness for the Mediterranean Monk Seals. We are deeply grateful for their sponsorship and active contributions to preserving the environment and life in Cyprus."
