eToro to Expand More Products and Features in 2021

Not only the record mentioned above, but eToro's trading activity also experienced a drastic increase of 233% in the first quarter which almost touched the 210 million marks.

Commenting on this achievement, the Co-Founder and CEO of eToro, Yoni Assia, said that last year brokers experienced a surge in terms of new clients and trading activities. As lockdowns and work from home occurring, at the same time this situation resulted in high numbers of retail investors entering the market through online investment platforms and applications.

The trend at the beginning of the pandemic is expected to continue to increase in 2021, as seen in the number of new eToro clients registering for live accounts during 2021's first quarter.

In addition to the report on the number of new clients, the graphics-intensive forex platform also revealed that it will soon publish full interim Q1 2021 financial reports in the coming weeks.

Celebrating this success, eToro is also promising new plans, such as expanding its product range with the launch of the eToro Money App and debit cards in the UK and EU by the end of the year. Following market demand, eToro also expands its cryptocurrency offering.
