Daniel Gladding, former Chief Risk Officer who served the now-defunct Oval Money for two and a half years, announced his appointment to eToro UK.

A former executive employee of now-defunct FX and CFD fintech brokerage Oval Money, Daniel Gladding, has taken up a new role at eToro UK in the same role as Chief Risk Officer. Gladding moved to eToro after two and a half years in risk management at Oval Money, which closed in March, and the client base sold off to Capital.com.

Gladding started his career in FX firms for almost 20 years. Early in his career, in 2004, he joined the IG Group as a Market Maker in FX, stocks, and futures before specializing in vanilla and binary options.

From December 2019 to November 2020, Gladding was Head of Risk and Director of SMF3 at Admirals, helping the Estonia-based FX/CFD broker establish a new risk function at its UK subsidiary. Additionally, he has worked in various roles in forex brokerages, including at StoneX, Index Capital, Gain Capital, and GFT Global Markets UK Limited.

"Excited to be working in the world of zero commission stocks, real crypto, derivatives, copy trading, debit cards, e-wallets, and much more!" Gladding posts on social media, LinkedIn.
