The BDSwiss family constantly seeks opportunities to contribute to global community well-being for a better future. Recently, they participated in a marathon competition.

Over 50 BDSwiss employees participated in the 5km Corporate Race at the Limassol Marathon in March alongside a 40-member team from the "Association of Parents and Friends of Children with Special Needs."

They were among the recorded 15,000 participants, including those from Cyprus and abroad, supporting the Karaiskakio Foundation and several other causes and charities. Two thousand of them come from 70 different countries.

The Limassol Marathon is among the largest sporting and fundraising events in Cyprus. It has been functioning since 2018, and its volunteer runners have raised approximately €90,000 from the givengain.com platform.

The proceeds benefit forty non-profit organizations that aid cancer patients, vulnerable children, people with special needs, and endangered animals.

Spyros Spyrou, chairman of Opap, spoke on behalf of the sponsors about the event's tremendous success and enormous attendance. "The record participation we had this year makes us happy, but it also creates more responsibilities for even better and bigger events in the future," he said. "Our vision, he continued, is for the Opap Limassol Marathon to become one of the most popular in Europe since it combines the advantages of a flat course and ideal weather conditions."
