ActivTrades said the company accepted Reed's resignation with agreement as he will move on to become Chairman of another business entity.

ActivTrades announces that John Reed not only has resigned from his position on the board of directors but also relinquished his position as Chairman of ActivTrades. He will move on to become Chairman of another business entity associated with Alex Pusco, CEO and founder of ActivTrades.

Reed's decision was the result of mutual agreement. Reed will be replaced by Patrick Storey, who has been an Independent Non-Executive Director since October 2017.

John Reed has served as Chairman of ActivTrades since 2016, taking over the role of controlling shareholder and CEO Alex Pusco. Previously, Reed was a banker who had worked at EFG Private Bank Limited, the UK branch of EFG International, and Ford Credit Europe Bank. Reed also served as CEO of private banking firm Arbuthnot Latham, following a 10-year career at Hambros Bank (now a unit of SocGen Kleinwort Hambros). He has also served as Group COO, group risk head, and head of corporate banking.
