To take on a broader role, CFD and FX broker ActivTrades has promoted Vikeshkumar Purohit as Head of the UK and DACH markets.

Vikeshkumar Purohit is now entrusted with the position of Head of the UK market and DACH by ActivTrades since joining the company in 2019. ActivTrades is an FCA-regulated broker that operates three branches of business outside the UK: in Italy, Bulgaria, and in Dubai. The Sofia branch, established in 2012, handles all technical aspects of ActivTrades' business, as well as responsibility for risk control, and some client services.

DACH is an acronym used to describe Germany, Austria, and Switzerland which have a total population of nearly 100 million people. The three countries make up the largest community in which German acts as the de-facto national language.

Purohit was previously a senior account manager early in his career and used to serve in a senior sales role in the UK branch of Middle East-focused broker, ATFX. There, Purohit built new markets within the DACH area by creating marketing and business strategies. Purohit's career includes different stints at London Capital Group and IG Group.

In other news, ActivTrades currently has also been actively expanding into overseas markets by updating its trading offer to provide clients with the opportunity to trade fractional shares. The multi-regulated broker launched a feature split trading as a way to lower the bar for young investors. This feature allows small traders to diversify their portfolios by spreading their relatively small capital across a wider range of stocks.
