Contract for Difference or mostly known as CFD is one of the most popular instruments to trade in the market. CFDs are available across various underlying assets like Forex, Indices, and Commodities. Lately, due to its popularity, Cryptocurrency is also included as one of the assets provided in CFD trading.
Unfortunately, not all brokers offer Crypto CFD, so traders have more limited choices in this regard. One of the most popular brokers that come with Crypto CFDs is Pepperstone. Advantages of Crypto CFD in Pepperstone
There are all kinds of benefits to enjoy from Peppestone Crypto CFD. Here are some of them:
1. No Wallet is Needed
All traders understand that a wallet is needed to trade Cryptocurrency. The reason is that Crypto is a digital asset that runs on a blockchain. To keep this digital money, traders should keep it in a wallet. But, a Crypto CFD is different.
Traders don't actually own the underlying assets, so the wallet can be eliminated. This is good news because that means traders can start trading Crypto right away without having to set up a wallet first. Instead, they would store their funds as a trading balance on a Pepperstone account which has been proven more reliable and secure than any Crypto wallet as the broker is regulated by credible forex authorities.
Pepperstone was founded in 2010 by a team of experienced traders with a shared commitment to improve the world of online trading. Based in Melbourne, Australia, they grew to become one of the largest forex brokers in the world. If traders want to find a broker that provides low spreads, fast execution, and award-winning support, then the answer is Pepperstone.
Pepperstone has a strong legality guarantee because it has been licensed by the Australian regulator ASIC and FCA. Traders' funds can be deposited in segregated accounts at top Australian banks, one of which is the National Australia Bank (NAB). Therefore, the safety of funds is not a concern if a trader chooses to open an account in Pepperstone .
They succeeded in collaborating with 23 top banks to bring Bid to investors instantly via optical fiber. This allows all orders to be executed 100 percent automatically with low latency up to 0.05 milliseconds, without dealing desk intervention and requotes, as well as with super low trading costs.
Trusted by over 73,000 traders around the world, Pepperstone processes an average of USD12.55 billion of trading volumes every day. Because of that, they have many awards such as:
- The Best Global Forex ECN Broker 2019 and Best Forex Trading Support-Europe
- Best Australian Broker and Best Trading Platform 2018 by Compareforexbrokers.com
- Best Forex ECN Broker, Best Forex Trading Support, and Best Forex Trading Conditions by UK Forex Awards 2018
With the many rewards gained, Pepperstone hopes to attract more and more traders from all over the world. The rising performance of Pepperstone is not only due to the super-tight spreads and fast execution that it provides, but also because many traders are interested in trading with deposits in currencies other than US Dollars.
For this reason, Pepperstone is one of the most market-responsive brokers because it is willing to accept deposits in 10 currencies, which include AUD, USD, EUR, CAD, GBP, CHF, JPY, NZD, SGD, and HKD.
Trading in Pepperstone would allow traders to choose between 11 trading platforms: MT4 for desktop, MT4 Mac, MT4 iPhone, MT4 Android, MT4 iPad/Tablet, MT5, WebTrader, cTrader WebTrader, cTrader cAlgo, and cTrader Mobile. The choice of trading platforms may seem confusing to novice traders, but actually, it is very useful because it has fast execution.

Pepperstone has partnered with a range of social trading platforms that traders can choose from, such as Myfxbook, ZuluTrade, Mirror Trader, MetaTrader signals, and Duplitrade.
2. Leverage
Leverage may be risky, but it is a good way to give extra power to your trading position. Pepperstone offers leverage up to 1:10 for Crypto CFD. Perhaps for some traders, this amount of leverage isn't enough. But it actually provides enough exposure to Crypto without having to carry as many risks as higher leverage does. After all, Cryptocurrency is a relatively new market and thus the price movement is full of spikes, so using leverage higher than 1:10 may be extremely dangerous for this kind of market condition. For that particular reason, Pepperstone administers different leverage according to which coins the traders choose.
3. Various Cryptocurrencies to Choose
Traders can gain access to popular Cryptos such as Bitcoin, Ethereum, Litecoins, Polkadot, Cardano, and Uniswaps. On top of that, Pepperstone allowed traders to access more minor Cryptocurrencies should they be interested. There are also Crypto indexes which represent collective Cryptocurrencies sorted by certain features in the asset. For the trading costs, Pepperstone applies floating spreads from 30 pips in BTC/USD trading.
4. Fast Moving
The Pepperstone Crypto CFD platform allows traders to access everything online. That means traders can react quickly to price movement when any important news just hit the market. They can also adapt their trading strategy accordingly.
5. Good Fill Rate
For those who don't know, a fill is an executed order. It refers to the action of completing an order to an asset. So, a good fill rate is important to make sure that the order is completed
Pepperstone Crypto CFD claims to be capable of providing a 99.2% fill rate. That means traders' orders will be executed as soon as requested. On top of that, Pepperstone promises no dealing desk interventions to make sure the order is successful.
6. Demo Account Available
A demo account is a good way to learn how the real markets behave. Evidently, it is a good exercise for all kinds of traders, including beginners. Unfortunately, the demo accounts features are quite limited in most brokers. Usually, the instruments are fewer if compared to the real account. This can be a disadvantage for a trader who wants to try a certain instrument that isn't available in the demo account.
But, Pepperstone allows traders to ttry out the Crypto CFD trading even in their demo account. This allows traders to learn how the Crypto CFD works before trading with real money.
So, Is Pepperstone a Good Crypto CFD Broker?
Pepperstone is an award-winning brokerage under ASIC regulations. This broker offers all kinds of trading instruments, including Crypto CFD. There are different kinds of Cryptocurrency CFDs to trade from Pepperstone. Another feature to enjoy from this instrument is leverage up to 1:10, which is adjustable based on the coin traded. Darwin: A contract for difference (CFD) is an agreement entered into in the trading of financial derivatives in which the payment difference between the opening and closing prices is paid in cash. There is no delivery of physical or securities with CFDs. A simple example like this, a CFD is essentially an agreement between a seller and a buyer to pay the difference in the value of an asset. For example, if you bid to buy an asset and another trader sets the Ask price, CFD trading allows when the price goes up, the other trader asking will pay you the difference, otherwise when the price falls, you will pay the difference in the value of that property. In terms of risk, CFDs are riskier in my opinion than Forex, be it crypto CFDs or stock CFDs. (CFD) Contracts for Difference is an advanced trading strategy used by experienced traders and is not authorized in the United States. SO, US traders cannot trade CFDs.

Felix: Regarding risk, you said that CFDs are riskier than Forex. Based on this fact, is Pepperstone's very low leverage in crypto CFD trading affected by the riskier market that you have said at earlier comments? Therefore, the broker did not offer large leverage at CFD. ifI compare, Pepperstone actually offers Forex leverage of 1:500 while stocks and cryptocurrencies respectively are just 1:20 and 1:10. Can you explain to me why leverage is so low and why CFD is riskier than Forex? Thank you for the answer by the way.

Darwin: In my opinion, absolutely yes. CFDs are riskier than forex and because of the risk that may acquire during the CFDs trading, the offer of leverage, from brokers are also low. As the article said, price movement, especially in the cryptocurrency market, is very complex, or in other words very volatile. With higher leverage it means your risk also increases and if your funds are not enough to hold the floating loss, you will lose all of your money very quickly. Meanwhile, in Forex, it is yes volatility always happens, it is yes volatility also happens but not as thorny as CFD. So, for the safety of your money, you are better off trading with your own strength and if you want to use leveraged brokers, they offer low leverage to avoid bankrupt or margin call at CFD.

Darwin: Dude, I think if you want to trade CFDs on cryptocurrencies, you can follow the suggestion in the above article. You can trade on a demo account first and then train your strategy to get profitable CFDs. While it's not allowed in the United States, that doesn't mean it's illegal to trade in another country. In my country trading like this is not a problem at all and it is true that the leverage is lower than forex, which requires you to deposit more/ And when choosing CFD, at Pepperstone you can trade 19 crypto trading instruments, including Bitcoin, Litecoin, Ripple, Polkadot, and more. Regarding stocks, you can trade more than 1000 stocks, mainly US stocks, blue chip. Stocks from UK, Germany and Australia! Therefore, the choice is varied, and it is up to you to choose who you want to talk to. One caveat you should consider is that you should choose MT5 if you open an account there and the minimum deposit for all accounts (standard and razor) is $200. It is a very standard low deposit ,man.

actually I have never tried Cryptocurrency trading, I've always been afraid to try because yes, as you know, Cryptocurrency is an instrument that has a high volatility value. It's possible for crypto to rise at one time but fall back at the same time. This risk made me think negatively about Cryptocurrency.
However, as you know, Cryptocurrency has often been the talk of investors lately and has skyrocketed in popularity. And yes, now there is Crypto CFD on Perpperstone which is said to be quite popular among traders.
As a trader, I always think about the costs when trading this cryptocurrency CFD. Do you think Trading Fees on Crypto CFD Instruments are worth considering as a reason to trade at Pepperstone?

Hwasa: However, don't misunderstand this volatility, instead take advantage of this volatility by trading Cryptocurrency CFDs with Pepperstone and well, if you use CFDs, you don't need a digital wallet as explained in this article.
if you ask if trading fees at Paperstone are low? the spread issue is quite varied depending on what currency, I think the spread can start from 0.02 pips for several currencies and the highest is Bitcoin with a minimum spread of 30 pips. as far as I'm concerned with the spread issue, the 30 pips offered by Pepperstone is still considered reasonable considering it is Bitcoin (one of the most popular products).
then the swap fee, for short trading is 7.5 and for long is -20. and it is also rare for bookers to offer this instrument, so if you are interested in trading crypto CFDs, Pepperstone could be an option that is highly considered.

In my opinion, this broker provides good facilities for traders who trade Cryptocurrency. Yes, because crypto is a fairly complicated and challenging instrument, I want to try this Demo account provided by Pepperstone.
for Crypto trading, the spread offered is quite high, yes, for Bitcoin, apart from Bitcoin, do you think there are other crypto currencies that are quite good with quite affordable spreads?

Selena: If indeed you are interested in trading cryptocurrency and want to trade with low spreads with a good choice of currencies. Among all cryptocurrencies, apart from bitcoin, there are some that are good too, namely

Tora: I want to add 2 cryptocurrencies that are quite popular, and maybe they can be a balance for trading at Pepperstone.
the first is Litecoin, recognized as a peer-to-peer cryptocurrency, so it is also called "Bitcoin's little brother". However, Litecoin offers superior transaction speed and a higher total token limit, compensating for the mining process which requires more memory. Currently, Litecoin is the fifth largest cryptocurrency in the world with a market capitalization of $2.743 billion at a price of $45.26 per token.
Cardano is also good in my opinion, As of September 18, 2022, Cardano has the eighth largest market cap at USD 15.9 billion, and one ADA is trading at around USD 0.47.
of the two cryptocurrencies that I mentioned are currencies that are quite popular and influential too. and fortunately, if you trade Cryptocurrency at Pepperstone, the spreads offered are quite low, starting from 0.25 pips for Litecoin and 0.004 pips for Cardano. for the same leverage, namely 10:1.

Greetings. It's my first time knowing that CFd also can be done for crypto. As far as I know, the opsi for cfd only can only be done in golds, oil, and commodities. I'll gonna try it, but I need more info about the trading hours. How is the cfd crypto market work? Is it from Mon-Fri, or 24/7 nonstop? In short, can I do my trade on the weekend?
