My capital is about 1000 dollars. My question is, what is the safest lot to trade and how much should it be? Thanks

Selama ini konsep yang saya pegang adalah "menggunakan modal sekecil kecilnya untuk mendapatkan hasil sebesar besarnya".

How to do it? One way is to take advantage of the leverage offered by the broker. Example: you use a broker where your capital is $ 1000 and choose 1: 500 leverage where the value is:

  • Lot 0.01 = 0.01 dollars, your balance strength is 100,000 Pips
  • Lot 0.10 = 0.10 dollars then your balance strength is 10,000 Pips
  • Lot 1.00 = 1 dollar then your balance strength is 1000 Pips lot
  • 10.00 = 10 dollars then the strength of your balance is 100 pips

When you choose Leverage 1:500, usually the margin that is taken by broker is approximately 30 Pips. If you open 0.01 lot, the margin is about 0.30 dollars, if the lot is 0.10 the margin is 3 dollars, if the lot is 1 the margin is 30 dollars.

And this can be used as the minimum limit for placing Stop Loss if you want to use Stop Loss. (Remember only 30 Pips) And to make it easier when you BUY / SELL with a certain lot, pay attention to how much margin is taken by the broker. You can pay attention to your meta trader.

The thing you need to remember is this size is different from each broker. So, it's a good idea to ask the CS broker what is the value of 1 lot. Because there are brokers who apply 1 lot = 100 dollars. means if so lot 0.10 = 10 dollars and lot 0.01 = 1 dollar .. If lot 1 (100 dollars) is approximately 3,000 dollars Margin and Minimum Stop Loss 30 Pips.

How many open can be taken?

It depends on the lot you use. If you first open using lot 1 (1 dollar) then your capital strength is 1000 pips, a margin of 30 dollars. and if you want to put a stop loss of at least 30 pips. if so, $ 1000 - $ 30 = $970. and $ 970 is leftover for you.

I think using leverage 1:500 can open a lot but very vulnerable when the position is opposite. 1:50 safer due to limited op. Trade with little profit is okay than get MC.

Yes, you right. The most important is the consistency of our profit.
