You use both of them, You can use the broker. But for beginner, choose the cent or standard account first, which has lot value up to 0.01. That makes you can trade with small funds.

HotForex has a high minimum investment of at least 50 USD, while XM can start at 5 USD. But from HotForex has more account choices. But, overall they are good forex brokerage.
