Hi there,
Which time frame is suitable for long-term trading? I want to learn how to be a long-term trader. Thanks, God Bless You!

@Javier Nathaniel, For long or medium-long term trading, traders use the daily time frame (D1), with a minimum time frame of 4 hours (H4).

What should be prepared to become a long-term trader? And What indicators are the best enough to be used for long term traders?

@Javier Nathaniel Long-term trading relies more on fundamental analysis. So you should master the fundamental issues that can affect market movements. In addition, of course, you also have to master technical analysis to find out the direction of trend and entry momentum, as well as analysis of market sentiment (price action).

Secondly, indicators trading that is often used is a combination of trend indicators and momentum indicators. Trend indicators are usually Moving Averages (SMA or EMA), parabolic SAR, Bollinger Bands, ADX, and MACD. Momentum indicators are oscillators such as RSI, stochastic, or CCI. Trend indicators are used to determine the direction of price movement, while momentum indicators are used to find the right moment for entry. In addition, traders also often combine technical analysis and market sentiment analysis by observing the price action that is formed.

@Javier Nathaniel, Basically, you cannot combine indicators that are in the main chart window by default with other indicators that are in separate windows. In this case, the Moving Average (MA) indicator is intended to be on the main chart window. Thus, the MA indicator cannot be combined with other indicators that are in separate windows such as MACD, RSI, Stochastic, etc. However, you can combine oscillator indicators like Stochastic and CCI in one window. Here are the steps. The following is a display of the USD/CAD chart with the Stochastic indicator.

Then open the Navigator panel. If not already available, you can display it by clicking the View menu> Navigator.

Then find the indicator that you want to add on the navigator panel. In this case the Commodity Channel Index (CCI). Please click and drag the indicator to the indicator window where Stochastic is located.

Then the indicator parameter setting dialog box will appear. Please adjust according to your taste, then click OK.

And as a result, the CCI and Stochastic indicators can be in one window.

"....to become a long term trader, does it have to be big capital?"

Do not have to. But in truth, in order to generate a worthy profit, you should indeed use large funds.
