Dow, NASDAQ, and S&P 500 are rising on Thursday as cryptocurrency exchange Coinbase Inc. began listing on NASDAQ at a valuation of $86 billion.

The American indices performed differently yesterday. The S&P 500 and NASDAQ 100 surprisingly dropped. On the other hand, the Dow Jones Industrial Average rose strongly. That said, all three of them managed to set their new all-time highs yesterday. Moreover, they are significantly going up today. From the data front, there will be many important releases in the US today, such as weekly initial jobless claims, Philadelphia Fed Manufacturing Index in April, and retail sales and core retail sales in March. Anyway, let's start the analysis, S&P 500 first:

S&P 500

Yesterday was a really interesting session. First, the S&P 500 rose a bit and set the new all-time high. Then, in the afternoon, it dropped significantly and finished the session below the Pivot Point. Today the price is rising strongly, though. If the buyers continue generating firm demand, the price might rise above the R1 resistance level and set the new all-time high. But if the bears counterattack once again, the price could fall to the Pivot Point.

NASDAQ 100

NASDAQ 100 was even more volatile yesterday. First, the price set the new all-time high and rose above 14,000. Then it dropped heavily and finished the day below the S1 support level, at the EMA 200. However, the price is rising strongly today. If the buyers continue generating firm demand, the price might rise above the R1 resistance level and even set the new all-time high. But if the bears counterattack once again, the price could fall to the EMA 200.

Dow Jones Industrial Average

The DJIA index was definitely the strongest one yesterday. The price rose above the R1 resistance level and set the new all-time high. Then, in the late afternoon, it dropped a bit, but it was still a great performance. Today, the price is significantly going up once again. If the buyers continue generating firm demand, the price might rise above the R1 and set the new all-time high. But if the bears counterattack once again, the price could fall to the Pivot Point.
