Darren Dale is one of the new Trading 212 executive members who is being added through the company's management restructurion program.

Multi-licensing broker, Trading 212, added Darren Dale to its executive team as Group Chief Compliance Officer. The appointment occurred when the broker was in the process of obtaining regulatory permits in Germany. Previously, the company managed to get licenses in the UK, Bulgaria, and Cyprus.

Dale is a compliance expert with 17 years of experience. Prior to joining Trading 212, he worked in the ADSS office in London, as Head of Compliance & MLRO for four years.

His other work experience in the financial services industry includes a five-month stint at FXCM as Deputy Head of UK and EU Regional Compliance, as well as several years at Cornhill Capital as Group Head of Compliance. In addition, he also served as Head of Compliance at London-based City Credit Capital for seven months.

Dale's recruitment is part of restructuring the management of this global CFD and stock broker in the last 18 months. Apart from Dale, the company also appointed Mukid Chowdhury as Chief Executive Officer in May 2021, followed by George Mantilas as Chief Operating Officer and Philip Parsons as Chief Financial Officer.

On the other hand, Trading 212's performance recorded an increase due to the impact of the pandemic on the retail trading market and managed to achieve a revenue of £124.1 million in 2020, or jumped 318% YoY. Income from its UK business in 2021 also skyrocketed 74% to over £94 million.
