Renovation of the Amerikos Argyriou Paediatric Clinic in Limassol

BDSwiss recently made a significant contribution to the renovation program of the Amerikos Argyriou Paediatric Clinic in Limassol. Named after the esteemed Dr. Amerikos Argyriou, a pioneer in the medical field, the clinic has been serving patients since 1969.

The broker contribution helped renovate two rooms in the Paediatric Ward at Limassol General Hospital, enhancing the playground area, and improving amenities such as bed covers, sheets, pillows, curtains, and room dividers.

This initiative reflects BDSwiss's commitment to supporting healthcare and making a positive impact on the community, honoring the legacy of Dr. Argyriou, and ensuring better facilities for young patients in need.

 

Support Youth Football Club in Venezuela

Many brokers sponsor various famous football clubs to gain good exposure among football fans. In this case, BDSwiss has a different view. The broker prefers to make a personal touch by sponsoring a small football team in Venezuela called Club Deportivo Llano Alto.

Founded 10 years ago, the club hosts 116 football players aged 4 to 17 years old, operating on almost no funds. The club attracts kids from poor neighborhoods, introduces them to the beautiful sport of football, and keeps them away from troubles such as gang violence, drugs, and prison.

Naudy Eduardo Orozco Pereira, a trader and coach of the football club, formed the club so that children could have a healthier, happier life, and find their path to success.

This commitment has proven successful as many players from Deportivo Llano Alto have gone on to play for professional clubs. Financial assistance from BDSwiss is expected to help more children achieve their dreams.

Sponsored Rock Charity Concert in Limassol

In a heartwarming display of community support, BDSwiss sponsored a particular charity Rock & Roll concert held on Thursday, February 23rd, in Limassol.

The event featured local artists and was organized to raise funds for children with special needs through the Association of Parents and Friends of Children with Special Needs – To Spiti tou Mariou & Ekaterinio.

Attendees were treated to an unforgettable musical journey through the best decades of Classic Rock & Rock 'n' Roll. From iconic bands like Queen, Rolling Stones, and Elvis Presley to legendary artists such as Chuck Berry and Bill Haley, the concert captivated the audience with timeless hits. Additionally, performances by the children themselves added a touching and personal element to the event.

 

Send Volunteers to Ronald McDonald Houses

Ronald McDonald House Charities (RMHC) is a non-profit organization that assists families with sick children by providing comfortable accommodation facilities near children's hospitals.

The main goal of RMHC is to support families going through difficult times while their children receive long-term medical care in hospitals. One of RMHC's flagship programs is Ronald McDonald Houses, which provides lodging for families near children's hospitals worldwide.

On July 7, 2023, seventeen BDSwiss representatives volunteered at the Ronald McDonald House in Nicosia. They spent the day attending to the house's needs, including cleaning, gardening, and cooking.

Later, the team brought their guitars to the Archbishop Makarios III Hospital to spread moments of joy and entertainment to the young patients and their families in the hospital's Paediatric Oncology Unit.

BDSwiss Supports Ronald McDonald House

At the end of this fulfilling day, BDSwiss co-CEOs, Gregory Papagregoriou and Andreas Andreou, who were among the volunteers, donated an amount to the organization on behalf of BDSwiss.

 

Annual Blood Donation 2023

It has become an annual agenda for BDSwiss to hold blood donation drives to contribute to the wider community. On June 14, 2023, coinciding with "World Blood Day," BDSwiss broker takes this opportunity to raise awareness about the critical importance of blood donation.

  • Teaming up for charity at the Cyprus Third Corporate Futsal Tournament to support children with special needs and their families in the Larnaca District
  • Sponsors the Olympus Hike for Children with Heart Disease
  • Donate money and toys to enrich the children's play area at one of Mexico Sonríe's esteemed centers, a charity organization in Mexico that helps low-income children suffering from cancer
  • Sponsor "Paddling for Life, Paddling for Children" to support the "Panos Euripidou Foundation," which strives to improve the quality of life of prematurely born children
  • Supports the "365 Charity Run Walk" in Limassol
  • Donates Computer Stations to the Charitable Association "Funraising"
